But ye uhh in all seriousness, it's a very weird submission. At first I thought they all made no sense, then I got the infinity-on-high fallout boy thing and I started to wonder about the others.

Couldn't really see the logic in the others though, were they as clever? I got to the one after the moving blue bars, and gave up after about 7 tries.

It's good that it's hard, but the questions need to be possible without using trial & error. You don't have to make them easier, you just need to make them somewhat more logical. The FoB one was an example of a good question.

most of the multiple choice, blue boxes as answers questions had some form of logic..except the first one....there was a jackson pollock reference, the 3rd is an anagram one, a few keyboard ones...mighty boosh reference.......it has logic...albeit obscure...

You need to bind the spells to keys, it completely ruins the game play having to select from a menu all the time. The visuals were very nice, especially the scaling world. However, the game concept wasn't stunning, and I think defend your castle worked better. Pretty good though.

You're not scripting properly I'm afraid, you've animated the play to move left or right when he jumps. He shouldn't be moving distance during the animation, it's causing the flashing error.

I'd go as far to say that games like these are flawed in the sense that the gameplay is... inexistant. You have all the wonders of allowing the user total control over a player with the keyboard, yet you let them "choose what move to do" from a list. It's a joke, I've never understood how people manage to find it entertaining, surely only a child who enjoyed watching the attack animation would be interested.
Apart from that the sound was brilliant and it was all excellently executed, I just can't believe you went for the easy option for combat. Just because other RPGs adapt this shit idea doesn't mean you have to follow, games like this don't really exist on the market anymore because it's just so damn simple, boring, and tbh... can be played by retards.

You are skilled, and you may just like this genre, but I don't see why you could like something so disgustingly easy. This is effectively an electron board game, please make the next one a video game.

You need to get a bit more into it, the 'chose your move from a list' becomes more complicated later on. It soon becomes a game of mathematical strategy, rather than stat pumping like most other RPGs.

But you are right, why would I make such a mundane looking system when the player can use the entire keyboard?

The answer is, this is a small step towards an MMORPG in Flash, and basically, the technology of it depends on a turn based system to run smoothly. So basically 'turn base' is a premise we have to work with, and cannot change. We've done the best we can to make it exciting, and more improvements are set to come in later versions.

So give it another chance and tell me what you think.. As I've always said to people with a similar complaints as yours... Make it into Zone 3 :P It really starts to escalate from there.

Great graphics, great smooth animation. There is a great deal of content and definately a lot of depth to the game, the scripted camera for the fight scenes was excellent. So... surely a game of this nature would easily make it to the top of it's genre, when the vast majority of aspects have been perfected above all other fighters on this site? Well.. tbh I couldn't really say that's the case.
It simply falls below its competitor's in how the gameplay actually turned out. With the shield, the combos, the plan was all there, but it just doesn't work. There's not enough focus on what your actually doing than just smacking the buttons which will usually result in you over-powering your enemy. That's not to say you don't have to move around appropriately and block at the right times, but there's not enough intellectual challene when it comes to combat.
Thus, as a result, it doesn't beat all other games in it's genre in terms of the actual fun factor, the XIAO game for example had a much more tactical approach when fighting.
This isn't to say the game isn't a great piece of work ofcourse, and is undeniably something to be proud of.

Never ever could see what others see in this style of fighting. Oh select an option from a menu over and over again without any form of movement or any additional control? Fuck that, so tedious. Mind u i always was an active person. I guess aside from that the game is ok... theme wasn't funny for shit. Graphics looked alright, sound was ok nothing special. Can't believe u bothered making this to be honest mate.
