Embarassingly unfunny, dull, weak dialogue, poor use of sprites and you'll still responding to reviews after all these years...
I wouldn't be suprised if you've been voting 5 on your own movie every day since submission. Probably with multiple accounts...

Emptygoddess responds:

Nope. But if you really hate it, feel free to vote it zero every day on multiple accounts. It'll get lower soon enough.

This definately stands out in the sense that I think you've managed to draw almost exactly what you saw in your mind whilst relating the song to Madness. That I was highly impressed with, however I think it ends there. The drawings were very impressive if you only had a week, but that's not a reason to rate them higher than animations which are visually better.
I wouldn't be negative like this if this wasn't on the #1 spot, but it does need to come down.
Very impressive anyway, it just doesn't really deserve to have a higher score than other movies.

MindChamber responds:

lol, so okay, you will vote lower not based on your review of the flash itself, but where its ranked?

ahh makes sense. So I guess game reviewers have it all wrong then, its not the gameplay that matters when reviewing, its the graphics.. *writes down*

K gotcha! ^_-

Ok...

I can see why people are jumping up to argue with the people who are giving it low scores, but I think you're doing that for the sake of trying to sound creative.
Yes, to an extent it inspires, but it's extremely poor at doing so. If I wanted to build an experimental flash (it's barely even a flash btw) which used symbolic methods to create a story, I could do hell of a lot better than this.
So why am I giving it a low score? Not because it's a faint narrative, but because I've seen things like this done far, far better in the past. It's ironic that people are complaining the low-score-reviewers have no imagination, when the author alone seems to have very little. You don't push the boundaries at all, sorry.

Fierras responds:

One could argue about what's creative. At least I can say that I tried to do something different.
I've never said experimental flash. Flash is a medium not animation itself.
Also if you think you can do better then me, be my guest. I even encourage you. Then at least I'l have something to look forward to.

Julio

Review:

It's important to be constructive in your reviews, and not sound too biost, each characteristic of the movie should be clearly accessed, listing the pro's and con's. So here's my constructive review:

It fuckin sucked

Ok seriously, the blochead character is practically a copy of the dad from 'Dad's Home', his movement, his and his general appearance. Mind you atleast that flash had style. Can't say the same for this. If it wasn't for the blochead guy the actually movie with it's narrative would've been so dull I wouldn't have been able to watch it (along with the other parts). The guy made it bearable but I wouldn't say it was at an 'ok' level. In the past 6 months or so you've released more animations than hardly any authors who can draw well. Maybe if you tried going out once in a while you'd actually pick up a thing or two and stop being so f**king dull. Your movies inspire me to not make the same mistake so for that atleast, I thank you.

The-Swain responds:

Next time I will include sprites and an ocean of blood just for you. And I'm going to add subtitles like a previous viewer suggested, because English obviously isn't your first language.

mmm

You had some good ideas but the drawings were too 'comical' to create any subtle humour which is what it needed. The cave scene was easily the best and funniest. The room of requirement could have been funny if it was done differently. Also tbh I don't think that the joke for scene 3 was justified, ofc it was important to learn about his past to learn his weaknesses and his trends and understanding what items he values 2 be worthy as a Horcux. Also there was a huge amount of emphasis on his store by the prophecy which will probably link to book 7's ending. How to kill a horcrux? It's not gonna be generally teachable is it? It's gonna vary on the defences. It was alright overall but the voice acting let it down too. Harry's voice was too annoying to be funny and Ron didn't sound anything like Ron or suit his personality in any way.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Well Ron ahd only 2 lines, so i didn't feel like going to look for a better voice.

I still think Dumbeldore could have told all important info about voldemort in one lesson if he immdaitly got the important quotes from the pensieve instead of the ENTIIIIIIRE scene including a character walking from one place to another that has nothing to do with anything (i udnerstand it's for mood and all, and in story reading wise interesting, but in being logical in the story itself, it fails)

Well

U can thank your mate because without his song you'd be nowhere.

altffour responds:

well without the animation he'd be nowhere

It's sort of a half and half thing

.

Some of the guys on here are pretty sound, that aside, nice one sticking 2 fingers up at the arrogant people on here, they get so upset over things like this... good job

Ye

Alright man, nice animation and some good jokes (though personally i think the whole concept is a little sad but, whatever turns you people on...) Just one big question tho. Why in the fuck did you submit this many hours after 'Tomorrow's Nobodies Ep.3' had been submitted??? You could've easily got daily feature say, tommorow or something. Instead you put yourself up against one of the highest ranked flash pieces... why???

triRift responds:

eh, very good idea... We were going to submit this yesterday night but we wanted the whole team online and we were missing one. But we just couldn't hold it in any longer

Man..

I liked the dancing I prefer this to that One o'clock thing yesterday but it did get a little tedious. The animation was very nice and smooth for most of it. That one in the middle? ummmm the i-pod dancing style one, that was absolutely incredable, hats off to the guy who made that it was brilliant, some of the best flash animation I've seen. I'm not a fan of this genre but nice one anyways.

Wonchop responds:

iPod dancing? Dya mean Ambex's part? yeah, he was awesome
