Well...

Graphics were nice, but I hope the others were wrong in thinking your losing your touch, I hope this is just a one off. I really loved your other stuff, but this is dramatically let down by the humor.

It's just, well... not funny... You could've used WoW far, far better. As I said I love your other work so this did kinda noticably stand out. The humor is simply not up to date, its very plain and might get a few giggles out of kids but not much else. It was WoW, but you didn't use the funny parts of WoW to make it funny, thus the humor was just empty and an annoying gnome is not funny, it's annoying. You definately have the skills as I've seen you make brilliant movies in the past, so never stop making these.

mmm

I have to say the previous review by 'Jumpster' could have been much more accurate... The last two episodes especially had this hyped up drug-like feeling and the lead character seemed much more determined yet cunning. In this one, the grinding-through-killing scenes seemed much more dull and tedious than usual, maybe a longer intro would've helped prepare for the madness more? Also in the older episodes just getting a hit on one of the bosses seemed like an achievement, now they stick poles and shit through each other all the time lol. Don't get me wrong.. most of the other episodes were impressive but this one just seemed to lack something.

lol

i never see movies like this submitted anymore (and i dont mean with just sprites or videogame characters fighting). It kinda reminds me of links quest for ass and altho they can be a little twisted, I do like em. They are movies which are definately fun to watch which seems less and less frequent nowadays. Nice one.

Ok seriously, the blochead character is practically a copy of the dad from 'Dad's Home', his movement, his and his general appearance. Mind you atleast that flash had style. Can't say the same for this. If it wasn't for the blochead guy the actually movie with it's narrative would've been so dull I wouldn't have been able to watch it (along with the other parts). The guy made it bearable but I wouldn't say it was at an 'ok' level. In the past 6 months or so you've released more animations than hardly any authors who can draw well. Maybe if you tried going out once in a while you'd actually pick up a thing or two and stop being so f**king dull. Your movies inspire me to not make the same mistake so for that atleast, I thank you.

The-Swain responds:

Next time I will include sprites and an ocean of blood just for you. And I'm going to add subtitles like a previous viewer suggested, because English obviously isn't your first language.

The yellow guy was f**king annoying which ruined any atmospherical effect which this could have created. Then again the voice actors, the plot and the general directing was so dull that you had to put him in just to lighten it up ever so slightly. I'm also suprised this is so high, I didn't think the viewers on here would give stuff like this anything more than 3.75 Still... It's kinda upsetting that if stuff like this can get so high because of length, graphics & effort, anything following the same principles can.

WOW DUDE THAT WAS AMAZING!!

Not. It revolutionized shit.

LOL

"that's funny" "ummuhmmm" "funniest thing I've ever heard". LOL that ghost was awesome, his voice suddenly changed after the joke, brilliant.

lol

It's got to be asked... Do you actually know shit about martial arts? You should try some internals.

mmm

You had some good ideas but the drawings were too 'comical' to create any subtle humour which is what it needed. The cave scene was easily the best and funniest. The room of requirement could have been funny if it was done differently. Also tbh I don't think that the joke for scene 3 was justified, ofc it was important to learn about his past to learn his weaknesses and his trends and understanding what items he values 2 be worthy as a Horcux. Also there was a huge amount of emphasis on his store by the prophecy which will probably link to book 7's ending. How to kill a horcrux? It's not gonna be generally teachable is it? It's gonna vary on the defences. It was alright overall but the voice acting let it down too. Harry's voice was too annoying to be funny and Ron didn't sound anything like Ron or suit his personality in any way.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Well Ron ahd only 2 lines, so i didn't feel like going to look for a better voice.

I still think Dumbeldore could have told all important info about voldemort in one lesson if he immdaitly got the important quotes from the pensieve instead of the ENTIIIIIIRE scene including a character walking from one place to another that has nothing to do with anything (i udnerstand it's for mood and all, and in story reading wise interesting, but in being logical in the story itself, it fails)

What can I say?

Truely inspiring.... Breathe taking visuals, vastly enhancing use of sound. The long shot of the river panning over the water and the creatures playing had possibly the best suited music I've ever seen in a flash. It wasn't funny but it didn't need to be, you should really, really be proud of this.
